How ITS Research Solution designs, checks and maintains calculators.
Each calculator is built from an explicit formula or rule set. Before publication, inputs, units, boundary conditions and representative test cases should be checked against authoritative references or standard mathematical definitions.
Calculation principles
We prefer transparent formulas over opaque outputs. Scientific and statistical tools include assumptions where those assumptions materially affect interpretation. Where a simplified model is used, the page should say so.
Updates
Tools are reviewed when formulas, standards, user feedback or technical issues indicate a need for revision. The modified date shown on a tool page reflects the most recent WordPress update to that page.

If you find a possible error, please use the contact page and include the tool URL, inputs and expected result so the calculation can be reproduced.
